Being “THAT” Happy

Finding JOY and HAPPINESS through life’s trials.

A Journey of Healing and Peace
[SIGNATURE PRESENTATION | KEYNOTE]

Finding true joy and happiness in life is harder for some of us than others. Sometimes, our lives are plagued by struggle – loneliness, depression, anxiety, failure, divorce, death, abuse, having to shoulder the results of other people’s choices, and the list can go on.

Do you ever feel like as you get closer to the light at the end of the tunnel that something starts to suck the life out of you and pull you back into even deeper than you were before?

Leaving you stuck in the darkness.

Looking at the light but feeling no motivation or confidence to get there.

Trapped behind prison doors that seem like they will never open.

Are you ready to finally, finally step out into the light?

If you’re anything like me, you’ve felt like punching the next person who tells you, “God won’t give you more than you can handle.”

Right in the face.

I’ve learned it is possible to stand up, keep going and feel happiness at the same time.

It’s time to step into the light and find true joy and happiness in your journey. The adversity and trials aren’t going to go away but the darkness can.

I’d like to share my story with you and your group, and how I found the way to “turn on” my light, climb out of the prison my life had become, and fight the soul suckers of life. This is a timely message for anyone who faces an uphill battle on a daily basis, has lost their “spark,” and needs help redirecting their course.  I want to help the audience find joy in their journey and live every day feeling so much joy that they are asked, “Are you really THAT happy all the time?”

Chasing Family

Family History is more than just researching graveyards and old records.

A Journey to find out who you are and where you come from
[SIGNATURE PRESENTATION | KEYNOTE]

Family History doesn’t start with spending hours and hours looking through graves, searching census, going to the family history center, or researching tons and tons of documents. Family History starts with our own story.

Looking into the past is heart-warming and inspiring! Being able to use what we learn to be a better version of ourselves is a priceless journey. Our own lives will bless generations to come.

Become a time traveler and chase your family through the generations! Don’t wait to take at least one of these three steps: Record your story, start where you are, and chase your family until you find them.

Doing family history is like looking into a magic mirror. As we look into it pretty soon, interesting faces appear. Faces that we will recognize when we pass to the other side of the veil as they welcome us home.

When I took this selfie I was having a very bad day. I had been in church feeling so lonely even though my children were with me. After getting them to class, I went to my car to cry privately because I didn't want anyone to ask why I had been crying.

When I pulled down the visor to look at myself before going back into church I wondered why I looked so pretty. I don't often think of myself that way, especially after crying. In that moment, as I saw myself as beautiful inside and out and I felt a warm hug come over me from my Savior reminding me that I am God's daughter. I am loved by Him always. I am never alone. He is always with me. That day I saw myself as God sees me for the first time in my life!

When I cry my eyes get brighter blue. I did edit this picture a little because I wanted it to look the way I saw myself through God's eyes reminding me of who I am. This is my favorite picture of myself because it brings back loving memories of light on a dark day.

I am far from perfect and I am not a writer. However, I have a story to tell and I have been blessed with many spiritual and earthly experiences to know that my story may help someone.

If my experiences help even one person, then it will have been worth it to put my personal life out there for the world to read.

Please leave me a message if someting inspires you!
